The South Gulf Umpire Association was
formed in the 70's and incorporated in
1990 to provide the High Schools of Lee
and Hendry Counties with officials for
both baseball and softball. Over the
years, and through tremendous efforts
on behalf of the entire association,
we have become recognized as one of
the top group of officials in the state. 
We send crews to do post season baseball every year and have sent a crew to do the state baseball championship series for many years in a row.  We also have
sent crews to do post season in softball for many years.

Great efforts by our training coordinators keep us up to date on rule changes, mechanics, and what it takes to be a better umpire. We strive to succeed and provide our High School athletes with the most competent umpires available.
